We are a group of volunteers who care very much about animals and are always there to make life nicer for our friends in the West Norfolk Area.
Each animal that comes to us needing a new home becomes our little charge. They are all equal and very special and we would be failing in our duty to them if we did not do all in our power to make sure that their new family is the best possible. Homes are checked and attitude of the family, noted. Most important to the animals is to have a nice comfortable home, healthy appetising food, regular exercise and lots of love and cuddles… If you can provide these you are well on the way to being a lucky new owner….
We hope that no animal in need of medical treatment should have to die due to lack of funds and we can help people who worry about this option either through our clinic when open or with financial help towards treatment at other times. We can also help with neutering for people on benefit. We have two Charity Shops (see our services page) one in Kings Lynn and one in Hunstanton which are very instrumental in boosting our funds, we also have a very successful dog walk held each year at Sandringham, a well supported lottery and many other events all organised to raise funds which in turn means we can help as\many animals as possible which is our main aims as trustees. As all our helpers are volunteers ALL the funds we raise is held to benefit animals.
No pet is too old or too sick that we wont try to help any animal in need wherever we can. People who give us money to help us in our work by either putting a few pence in our collecting boxes or by buying some of our goods on sale in our charity shops or by leaving a legacy do so because they rely on us to spend their money wisely for the benefit of animals and we hope we meet their expectations.
No one can ever know our collective joy when a very sick animal comes to us for help and a week or so later that same animal is out of danger and recovering well.
Our dogs art cared for and boarded, to await re-homing at a private kennels in our region and we have an excellent relationship with our local veterinary practices..
